Renzo has won numerous titles the most prestigious being a 2x Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) Champion and fighting in PRIDE FC and the UFC. Pioneering BJJ in America in the 1990's opening the Renzo Gracie Academy in NYC. Known as one of the best teachers & mentors in the sport guiding students such as Matt Serra a former UFC Champion, Roger Gracie a 10x BJJ world champion, John Danaher the Jiu-Jitsu Coach to UFC Champions Georges St-Pierre & Chris Weidman.
Kyra Gracie
A true phenomenon inside the sport, Kyra Gracie is considered one of the best female jiu-jitsu competitors in history, a status cemented by her wins at important tournaments such as the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships, Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships and the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club). Kyra Gracie is also an important ambassador of the sport and one of the most televised jiu-jitsu practitioners with appearances on famous Brazilian TV shows as well as a commentator for UFC Brazil.
Gregor Gracie
Gregor Gracie Is the youngest brother of Rolles and Igor. Like many of the other Gracie family members Gregor started training in the early years of his live, having Rilion, Carlinhos and Renzo as his mentors. He became a well decorated competitor winning every major competition including 2 times the world championship. Now being one of the main professors at Renzo Gracie NYC academy Gregor divides his time between teaching and competing.
Rillion Gracie
Rilion Gracie is the youngest male son of the Grand Master Carlos Gracie Sr. (the founder of Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). He has been involved in his father’s tradition since he was born. He has grown up in the world of mats, healthy living, improved life skills and philosophic concepts of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, training primarily under his brother Rolls Gracie. He is widely recognized in the Jiu Jitsu world for his mastery of the art and has become known for being “100% technical”
Rolles Gracie
Rolles is a 5th degree black bel. He's the oldest son of Rolls Gracie (considered to be the best fighter of the family and an innovator of the sport). Rolles is a multiple time Pan Am champion and world medalist (Gi and No-Gi), national champion in Brazil. His fighting experience extends from international competitions not only in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also submission wrestling, judo, freestyle wrestling and MMA.
Roger Gracie
Roger is the only 10 times Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion making him the best competitor of all times. Son of Mauricio Gomes (one of Rolls Gracie’s few and top black belt) and Reila Gracie, Roger lives in London, England where he teaches for the past 12 years. One of Roger's biggest accomplishment is winning the ADCC world championship in 2005 where he submitted all of his 8 opponents winning his weight division and open class. His MMA record is 7-2-0
Igor Gracie
Igor Gracie is a 4th degree Black Belt and son of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend Rolls Gracie. He began his training at the young age of 5 with his uncle Rilion. Igor actively continues to test his skills on the mat as well as in the cage. He is a 2x World's Bronze Medalist, Pan Am Silver Medalist, 2x Brazilian Nationals Champion, US National and Black Belt Pan American No Gi champion. He is also a Bellator and StrikeForce Veteran. Igor’s philosophy on teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is simple because of his emphasis on the lifestyle and leading by example.
